Job summary

National Energy System Operator (NESO) is seeking a Senior Risk and Assurance Lead to support the SSEP programme. The role involves PMO governance, maintaining RAIDD logs, and coordinating progress reporting across workstreams.

Based in a hybrid setup from Wokingham, Warwick or Glasgow, the position offers flexibility and a competitive salary with strong benefits. You will lead assurance activities, chair risk reviews, and help embed lessons learned while ensuring data security and information

Qualifications

• Experience in PMO administration, including reporting and RAIDD logs.
• Cost management or procurement experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Project.
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to assigned workstreams for administration, reporting, process alignment and ad hoc PMO tasks.
• Maintain and update workstreams' plans and feed progress into the central programme plan.
• Deliver coherent reporting of progress across the programme and maintain standards.
• Maintain the programme RAIDD logs and reporting.
• Chair monthly Programme Risk Reviews and coordinate assurance events.
• Coordinate Lessons Learned across the programme with leadership.
• Oversee data security and information management policies and practices.
