Job summary

National Energy System Operator (NESO) is seeking a Supplier Performance and Risk Lead to implement and operate its supplier performance framework. You will work with procurement, legal, finance and contract owners to ensure service levels, KPIs and contractual obligations are monitored and reported.

The role requires strong supplier risk and performance management experience across Property, Facilities Management and Professional Services.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in supplier management, contract management and supplier risk in regulated environments.
• Ability to translate contractual obligations into practical performance measures and governance.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of NESO’s Supplier Performance Management Framework across spend categories.
• Maintain supplier scorecards and governance routines with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and agreed KPIs.
• Utilise supplier data to identify risks and support contract renewal decisions.
• Coordinate Quarterly Business Reviews and governance fora for strategic suppliers.
• Maintain the Supplier Risk Register covering financial, cybersecurity, and ESG risks.
