Job summary

National Energy System Operator (NESO) is seeking a Supplier Performance and Risk Lead to oversee supplier performance, risk management and governance across critical categories including Property, Facilities Management and Professional Services. The role blends contract management with data-driven oversight to ensure value and compliance.

You will support scorecards, KPIs and risk registers, work with stakeholders to drive improvements and use procurement platforms like Ivalua for insights.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in supplier management, contract management or supplier risk within a regulated environment.
• Ability to interpret contractual obligations and translate them into practical performance measures.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and ongoing application of NESO’s Supplier Performance Management Framework.
• Maintain supplier scorecards and risk registers across spend categories.
• Monitor supplier performance and contractual obligations against agreed SLAs.
• Utilise data insights to identify risks and support mitigation plans.
• Coordinate Quarterly Business Reviews and governance forums with strategic suppliers.
• Prepare risk and performance assurance reports for senior leadership.
