Job summary

Peaple Talent is seeking a Resource Planner for the M&E Division in Castleford, UK. The role focuses on building and developing the resource planning function, ensuring the right engineers are allocated to projects at the right times.

You will coordinate in-house M&E teams, manage subcontractors, work with project managers and site teams, and drive process improvements to maximise utilisation and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in resource planning or workforce planning.
• Strong M&E / Building Services knowledge.
• Familiar with HVAC and mechanical engineering disciplines.
• Experience coordinating with site managers and project teams.
• Not a graduate-level role; bring practical experience to build the function.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate in-house M&E engineering teams across multiple projects.
• Ensure engineers are allocated based on skills and project requirements.
• Manage subcontractors to support project delivery.
• Work with project managers, site managers and site supervisors to forecast needs.
• Develop and improve the internal resource planning process.
• Build a clear view of resource availability, project demands and future requirements.
• Support growth of the resource planning function within the M&E division.
