Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Management Accountant to join the Strategic Projects team on a major Glasgow-based project with hybrid working arrangements. You will report to the Project Director and Commercial Director to deliver robust financial reporting and governance.

Only fully qualified accountants with substantial post-qualification experience are encouraged to apply. The role involves site engagements across Kier's Strategic Projects division and regional finance teams.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience.
• Ability to produce high quality management information with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial reporting and controls for the project team.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and project payments.
• Deliver timely month-end reporting with cost control and governance.
• Oversee on-site finance controls including P2P, VAT and other taxes.
• Support continuous improvement across the management accounting function.
