KBR is seeking a Lead/Senior Accountant in Leatherhead to join a global finance team. You will help ensure the integrity of financial reporting and the control environment, supporting regional controllers and enabling informed business decisions.

The role offers hybrid working with three days in the office and opportunities to lead process improvements within a complex project-based business. As a qualified or near-qualified accountant, you will work across UK GAAP and, where relevant, US GAAP

Qualificações

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or nearing qualification.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse financial data and produce meaningful reporting.
• Good knowledge of UK GAAP, with exposure to US GAAP considered advantageous.
• Experience supporting month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory reporting and audit activities.
• Understanding of financial controls, compliance and reporting requirements.
• Experience using general ledger and financial reporting systems.
• Ability to work effectively within a global organisation and collaborate with remote teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Previous experience mentoring, coaching or leading others would be beneficial but is not essential.
