Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd in Plymouth is seeking a Project Manager to lead a varied portfolio across residential, commercial, healthcare, heritage and public sector schemes. You'll own projects with direct client exposure and work on major refurbishments, new-build developments and complex recoveries.

The role involves managing projects from feasibility through to procurement, construction and completion, with access to experienced Directors and Senior Surveyors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Project Management and/or Building Surveying
• Consultancy experience
• Experience across public and/or private sector projects
• Good pre- and post-contract knowledge
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• APC completed or close to completion
• A proactive, personable and collaborative approach
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required

Responsibilities

• Managing projects from feasibility through to completion
• Taking responsibility for programme, budget, quality and risk
• Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Managing consultants, contractors and wider project teams
• Providing technical input across design, procurement and construction
• Carrying out technical due diligence, surveys and assessments
• Preparing reports, project documentation and funding submissions
• Supporting the recovery of complex or underperforming projects
• Representing the consultancy at industry and networking events
