Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking an Associate Director - Project Management in Central London to lead a senior PM team on a major development valued at around £500 million. You will guide the programme from early design through mobilisation and into delivery, working with client stakeholders to ensure robust governance and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience at Associate Director or equivalent level.
• Strong track record delivering major developments valued at £100m–£150m.
• Experience with developers, client-side, or development management backgrounds.
• Knowledge of major commercial, mixed-use or complex central London developments.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary consultant and design teams in early project stages.
• Excellent governance, procurement, programme management and risk understanding.
• Ability to lead and motivate an established team of Project Managers with a one-team ethos.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to advise senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic project leadership across a large-scale development.
• Lead, manage and develop the project management team.
• Support mobilisation of design and consultant teams.
• Establish robust project governance, reporting and decision-making processes.
• Oversee programme, risk, procurement, commercial performance and stakeholder management.
• Act as senior client contact and coordinate with project team.
• Challenge consultants/contractors to protect schedule and outcomes.
• Maintain clear and transparent reporting throughout the project.
