Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their London practice, delivering public sector projects across residential and education sectors. You will lead projects from inception through to handover, coordinating clients, consultants and contractors to meet programme, cost and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a construction or multidisciplinary consultancy.
• Proven track record delivering projects from inception to completion.
• Experience in the public sector, especially residential and/or education projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction procurement, contracts and project delivery.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead projects independently and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Degree in Construction Project Management, Building Surveying or related discipline.
• MRICS, MAPM or working towards accreditation would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of construction projects across the public sector, particularly residential and education.
• Manage projects from feasibility/design through procurement, construction and handover.
• Act as main point of contact for clients and maintain relationships.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, risks and reporting.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, consultants and contractors.
• Oversee procurement strategies, tender processes and contractor appointments.
• Manage governance, stakeholder engagement and reporting requirements.
• Identify and resolve risks to maintain delivery.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
