Job summary

Reed is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join its finance team in a newly created Project Accountant role. The successful candidate will partner with project and business leaders to provide financial insight, support budgeting and forecasting, and help drive improvements in project finance processes and governance.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience in finance business partnering, commercial finance, project accounting or FP&A.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and management reporting skills.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capability.
• Experience supporting projects, business change, transformation programmes or investment activity.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project and business leaders to provide financial insight and support on key initiatives.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities across multiple projects.
• Monitor project performance, costs and financial outcomes, providing clear reporting and analysis.
• Assist with the accounting treatment of project-related expenditure and investment activity.
• Support the development and enhancement of project finance processes, controls and governance.
• Provide meaningful financial analysis to support strategic decision making.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across both finance and non-finance teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and systems enhancements.
