Job summary

Reed Practice in Suffolk is recruiting an ACA or ACCA qualified Senior Accountant or Client Manager to join their respected independent accountancy firm, with a clear path to senior leadership.

This hands-on role provides accounting, tax compliance and advisory services to a wide client portfolio while developing knowledge, relationships, and influence for future progression within the firm.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience as Senior Accountant/Client Manager or Practice Manager.
• Strong technical across accounts preparation, tax compliance, and client management.
• Commercially minded with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Long-term progression into senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, building trusted and long-term relationships.
• Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships, including tax compliance.
• Work across FRS 102 and FRS 105 reporting frameworks.
• Prepare and review VAT returns and self-assessment tax returns.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and practical commercial advice to clients.
• Support on complex advisory projects as required.
• Manage workflow and job budgets, ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain high technical and quality standards whilst delivering exceptional client service.
• Mentor and support colleagues to foster a collaborative environment.
