Reed Practice is partnering with Principal Partner to recruit an experienced Accounts Manager for a client-focused role in South Cambridgeshire. You will manage your own portfolio, delivering accounting and tax services within a collaborative, partner-led office.

Qualifications

• Qualified in AAT/ACA/ACCA.
• Experience in an accountancy practice environment.
• Experience with FRS 102/FRS 105.
• Experience preparing personal and corporate tax returns.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage own workload and build trusted client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, providing proactive advice and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Producing accounts in accordance with FRS 102 and FRS 105.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
• Liaising with clients and HMRC to resolve queries efficiently.
• Preparing personal and corporate tax returns associated with client accounts.
• Supporting bookkeeping activities and the production of management accounts.
