Job summary

Southern Water requires a Programme Manager to lead and oversee capital delivery programmes, ensuring delivery on time and within budget while aligning with safety leadership and company values.

You will manage internal and external stakeholders, drive performance and efficiency, and work across directorates and partners to achieve strategic outcomes with a focus on governance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
• Chartered Project Professional (ChPP).
• Substantial experience in utility programme and project delivery.
• NEC4 Project Managers Accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver water outcome-based programmes up to £500m with complex scopes.
• Be a core member of the Strategic Programme Leadership Team.
• Ensure governance and assurance via PMO processes and systems.
• Assign workstream, tranche and project resources.
• Lead, coach, mentor and motivate a team of professionals.
• Lead collaborative working with Delivery Partners to maximise efficiency.
• Manage NEC4 contracts for effective commercial management.
• Support development of Workstream & Tranche Execution Plans and translate needs into programmes.
