Job summary

M Group is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a programme of works on the Southern Water Framework across the South Coast. You will manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and right-first-time outcomes.

You’ll lead professionals, liaise with the client and stakeholders, and drive value through effective cost management and risk mitigation. You will mentor teams, foster collaboration, and promote best practices in safety, quality, and customer

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction.
• Management training such as ILM Level 5 or equivalent.
• NEBOSH National Certificate (General or Construction) or equivalent.
• Experience in the water industry and rising main projects.
• Proven ability to deliver against operational targets.
• Experience with civils, tunnelling, trunk mains.
• Experience managing designers and subcontractors.
• SMSTS

Responsibilities

• Oversight of a programme of works on the Southern Water Framework across the South Coast.
• Lead multiple projects from inception to completion with safe, on-time, efficient, right-first-time delivery.
• Mentor and lead project teams and act as the point of contact for the client and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with highways, local authorities, Southern Water, and Capital Delivery Waste Water operations.
• Liaise with clients, designers and delivery teams through target cost setting, design and delivery.
• Promote a collaborative and productive work environment and drive best practice in quality management.
• Deliver excellent customer service, achieve high customer satisfaction, and manage complaints and productivity.
• Assist in maximising cash collection, minimise WIP, and deliver targeted margins; undertake SHE audits.
