Qualifications

• Comprehensive experience leading and delivering technology and change projects in a global environment.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent interconnected or diverse projects.
• Strong lifecycle knowledge having delivered projects from start to finish.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to operate in a multi-methodology environment.

Responsibilities

• Start up, shape, lead and deliver Springer Nature Technology programmes and projects on time, budget and quality.
• Define, document and track programme/project objectives, scope, success criteria, and deliverables.
• Identify, assess, and manage programme risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure the successful delivery of programme objectives.
• Monitor resource utilization and address capacity issues proactively.
• Work with product vendors, implementation partners, and internal technology teams to ensure they deliver robust specifications and solutions that meet requirements.
• Where required, undertake RFI and RFP initiatives to select appropriate 3rd party solutions.
• Develop and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships on a global basis.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Provide regular updates and progress reports to key stakeholders.
• Support the business product owner, to ensure stakeholders’ needs are represented.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure appropriate information for decision making.
• Support change management and develop communication plans.
• Network with globally distributed stakeholders to keep business knowledge current.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing ways of working and propose solutions.
• Manage people-centric change projects with a focus on business process efficiency.
