Job summary

Jobtailor in London is seeking a Senior Programme Manager to own and drive delivery for large-scale, cross‑team initiatives. You will align with product roadmaps and organisational objectives while setting up governance, RACI, and escalation pathways.

You will work closely with engineering, product and agile delivery teams, translate ambiguous problems into well-defined requirements, and ensure timely decisions and delivery against plans.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering complex technical programmes in product-led organisations.
• Hands-on experience collaborating with engineering teams and architects.
• Deep expertise in scaled agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong dependency and risk ownership with executive reporting skills.
• Comfort with data and dashboards to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute programme strategy aligned with product roadmaps and objectives.
• Define operating model including governance, RACI, escalation pathways and tooling standards.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into well-defined requirements and drive engineering efforts.
• Own KPIs/OKRs and build dashboards to surface delivery progress and impact.
• Lead end-to-end delivery for large cross-team programmes and be accountable for outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and agile teams to improve predictability.
