Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a Strategic Programme Lead for a high-profile Not For Profit organisation in Coventry on a six-month fixed-term contract. The role requires senior stakeholder engagement and strong governance, with responsibility across multiple projects and the Diocese’s funding bid.

The ideal candidate will have PRINCE2 or equivalent experience, robust risk management skills, and the ability to present complex information clearly to trustees and leaders. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Strong strategic programme/project management experience within a complex organisation.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Programme governance, risk management and financial interpretation skills, with clear senior stakeholder reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop a clear programme plan and milestones for the strategy and funding bid.
• Establish effective frameworks for planning, monitoring and delivery.
• Define strategic outcomes alongside associated risks and mitigations.
• Develop governance and reporting structures for the programme.
• Provide high-quality programme management across multiple projects/workstreams.
• Coordinate key stages of the funding bid.
• Collaborate with senior leaders, trustees, clergy, lay leaders and partner organisations across the Diocese.
