Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a Strategic Programme Lead for a high-profile Not For Profit organisation in Coventry on a six-month fixed-term contract. The role requires senior stakeholder engagement and strong governance, with responsibility across multiple projects and the Diocese’s funding bid.

The ideal candidate will have PRINCE2 or equivalent experience, robust risk management skills, and the ability to present complex information clearly to trustees and leaders. Hybrid working is offered.

We're partnering with a high-profile, purpose-led organisation to recruit a Strategic Programme Lead for a critical six-month assignment.

The organisation operates in the Not For Profit sector in Coventry.

Description

You will work closely with senior leadership to create -

• Develop a clear programme plan and key milestones for the strategy and funding bid
• Establish effective frameworks for planning, monitoring and delivery
• Define strategic outcomes alongside associated risks and mitigations
• Develop appropriate governance and reporting structures
• Provide high-quality programme management across multiple projects and workstreams
• Coordinate the key stages of the funding bid
• Work collaboratively with senior leaders, trustees, clergy, lay leaders and partner organisations across the Diocese

Profile

You will bring strong strategic programme/project management experience, ideally gained within a complex organisation, alongside excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building skills.

You will be comfortable working with governance structures, managing risk and issues, interpreting financial information and presenting complex information clearly to senior stakeholders. Programme/project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, or substantial equivalent experience, are also desirable

Job Offer

• 6 month Fixed-term contract.
