Job summary

ForFarmers in the United Kingdom is seeking an Operations Planner who will convert the logistics plan into an efficient production plan, maintain raw materials and finished goods stock against customer requirements, and handle stock administration and physical stock control.

You will also provide weighbridge services, record vehicle weights, support monthly stock takes, and collaborate with Customer Services and Transport to ensure on-time, complete deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience with stock and inventory control systems (computerised and physical).
• Attention to detail and good communication abilities.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to shift patterns.
• Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage site stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Convert logistics plan into a production plan and optimise resources.
• Conduct daily stock counts and investigate OTIF issues.
• Support monthly stock takes and interface with Planning/CI teams.
• Conduct weighbridge duties and coordinate raw material and finished goods movements.
