Job summary

ForFarmers Nederland is seeking an Operations Planner in the United Kingdom to manage stock levels, convert logistics plans into production schedules, and oversee weighbridge duties. The role includes daily stock counts, OTIF analysis, and collaborating with Transport and Customer Services to ensure efficient supply chain operations.

The candidate will work shifts from 6am to 6pm with weekend rotations, contributing to continuous improvement and stock accuracy across raw materials and finished

Qualifications

• Experience of stock and inventory control (computerised and physical stock).
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Outgoing personality and good communication.
• Ability to work in a team and collaboration.
• Strong organisational skills and proactive approach.
• Willingness to work shifts (6am–6pm) and rotated weekends, flexible in winter.

Responsibilities

• Manage site-based stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Convert logistics plan into a production plan using site resources for efficiency.
• Conduct daily stock counts and reconcile variances.
• Interrogate OTIF reports and identify root causes of failures.
• Maintain daily tiered spreadsheets and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Ensure deliveries meet on-time and in-full targets; support weighbridge duties.
• Collaborate with Customer Services/Transport to optimise the supply chain.
