ForFarmers in Exeter is seeking an Operations Planner to convert the logistics plan into a production plan, manage stock levels, and ensure on-time, in-full delivery to customers. The role includes weighbridge duties, stock administration, and adherence to sampling schedules.

Key responsibilities include daily stock counts, OTIF analysis, and continuous improvement across the site, with shifts 6am–6pm and weekend rotation as required.

Qualifications

• Experience of stock and inventory control using computerised and physical stock systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a functional team and adapt to shift patterns.

Responsabilités

• Manage site stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
• Convert logistics plan into an efficient production plan using available resources.
• Conduct daily stock counts.
• Interrogate OTIF reports and identify root causes of failures.
• Update daily tiered spreadsheets as part of Tier accountability.
• Ensure deliveries are on time and in full.
• Lead root-cause analysis on production plan deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Sample and book in/out raw material deliveries.
• Manage stock holding to agreed financial and physical targets.
• Engaged in Continuous Improvement throughout the site.
• Assist monthly stock take with Planning and CI Manager.
• Cover holidays/sickness to meet planning requirements.
• Undertake weighbridge duties and handle material queries.
• Collaborate with Customer Services/Transport to optimise Supply Chain.
