Job summary

ForFarmers UK Limited is seeking a Planner to coordinate the planning, purchasing and movement of raw materials across our manufacturing operations. The role focuses on ensuring continuity of supply, cost-effective operations and accurate contract management.

You will work closely with suppliers, mills, hauliers and internal stakeholders to resolve supply issues and maintain strong relationships across the supply chain. A highly organised approach and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuity of supply and quality of designated raw materials at the best possible cost, adjusting delivery schedules to meet mill demand.
• Manage raw material supply contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms and location requirements.
• Anticipate and resolve short-term supply issues in a cost-effective manner.
• Monitor and track raw material orders to ensure timely deliveries to mills.
• Process purchase requisitions into purchase orders using contracts and information records.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and Mill Planners to improve processes and reduce costs.
