Job summary

ForFarmers Group is seeking an Operations Planner to manage site stock levels and convert logistics plans into actionable production plans for the mill. The role includes weighbridge duties, stock recording in the computerised system, and adherence to sampling schedules.

Key responsibilities include daily stock counts, addressing OTIF issues, and collaborating with Customer Services and Transport to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries while maintaining stock levels within targets.

• Experience of stock and inventory control, including computerised and physical stock systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain raw materials and finished goods stock to meet customer requirements.
• Convert logistics plan into an efficient production plan for the mill.
• Perform daily stock counts and reconcile variances.
• Ensure deliveries are on time and in full with OTIF focus.
• Undertake weighbridge duties and site stock sampling as required.
• Collaborate with Customer Services/Transport to optimise supply chain.
