Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our growing engineering and manufacturing operation in Witney. You will own day-to-day purchasing, manage MRP-driven processes, and drive supplier development to ensure timely delivery of components.

In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with production, engineering and operations teams, monitor supplier performance, and support continuous improvements across procurement processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Procurement roles within manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Proactive, ownership of tasks.
• Strong supplier quotation evaluation and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing via MRP systems.
• Raise and manage purchase orders with approved suppliers.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
• Develop strong supplier relationships and negotiate terms.
• Support global sourcing and identify alternative suppliers.
• Collaborate with operations to minimise supply chain disruption.
• Maintain procurement records and pricing data.
• Drive procurement process improvements.
