Job summary

Ministry of Justice in the United Kingdom seeks a senior manager responsible for allocating team resources to deploy interventions effectively and meet performance targets within a resource framework.

You will lead a diverse team, work with partner agencies to coordinate service delivery, manage risk and ensure quality standards, audits, and multi‑agency arrangements are met. Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and strategic planning are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading diverse teams including professionals and administrators.
• Understanding of probation service and criminal justice multi-disciplinary setting.
• Ability to evaluate practice and manage performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective line management and leadership to a diverse team including Treatment Managers and Administrators with robust risk procedures.
• Ensure interventions are delivered in line with programme manuals, performance and audit standards; manage risk effectively.
• Strategic oversight of resource use, staff rotas, and contingency planning for continuity of delivery.
• Maintain an adequate pool of trained Programme Facilitators with required training.
• Promote Accredited Programmes and SAC; ensure access to information for Judiciary, People on Probation, and Probation Practitioners.
