Job summary

Ministry of Justice’s National Probation Service is seeking a Senior Probation Officer to lead a Local Delivery Unit, directing staff and ensuring high standards of practice. You will analyse performance data, drive service improvements, and support staff development while managing resources in line with policy and contractual targets.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience (probation or related criminal justice) with good practice.
• Experience in offender risk assessment and management.
• Ability to evaluate practice and contribute to policy development.
• Experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
