Job summary

Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Planning Manager to oversee the Planning department in Bishops Cleeve. This role involves leading Master Scheduling and Production Planning, ensuring alignment between customer demand and production execution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong planning background, experience in leading teams, and an understanding of ERP/MRP systems. You will drive process improvements and promote accountability and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications

• Strong background in planning, master scheduling, production planning or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, capacity planning, material availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Planning team including Master Scheduling and Production Planning.
• Act as the planning focal point for the business.
• Ensure customer requirements are aligned to master schedules and production plans.
