Job summary

Job Advert is seeking a Production Control Manager to lead planning and scheduling in a busy engineering environment. You will own the Master Production Schedule, manage material readiness, and optimise capacity to meet customer delivery targets.

This leadership role collaborates with Sales, Procurement, Design and shop floor teams to align resources with demand. The successful candidate has 10+ years in engineering, strong ERP/MRP experience and advanced Excel skills, plus proven leadership and

Qualifications

Experience in Production Planning, Control or Manufacturing Planning.
10+ years in an engineering environment.
Leadership experience is advantageous.
Strong ERP/MRP and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) balancing customer demand with capacity.
Maintain and optimize schedules with shop floor feedback and process improvements.
Manage ERP/MRP systems to ensure materials are available as required.
Monitor material availability to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
Analyse production capacity across laser cutting, CNC machining, welding, paint and assembly operations.
Collaborate with Design to improve Bills of Materials and scheduling accuracy.
Analyse product costing and work with Finance to improve costing accuracy.
Drive continuous improvement across planning, scheduling and manufacturing processes.
