Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Planning Lead in Stroud to own the master production schedule, optimise inventory and capacity, and drive demand and supply forecasting. You will collaborate with Production, Procurement, Engineering and Supply Chain to align plans with business objectives.

You will lead or support S&OP processes, analyse data, monitor KPIs and support New Product Introductions and strategic projects, ensuring effective planning and resource allocation within a manufacturing

Qualifications

Experience as Master Scheduler or Production Planner in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP and production planning methodologies.
Experience leading or supporting S&OP processes.
Ability to analyse complex data and make informed planning decisions.
APICS/CIPS or related qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the master production schedule to meet customer demand and optimise inventory and capacity.
Lead the S&OP process with accurate demand and supply forecasts.
Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Engineering and Supply Chain to align plans.
Monitor material availability, capacity constraints and production performance with corrective actions.
Analyse planning data and KPIs to reduce risks and improve forecast accuracy.
Support new product introductions and strategic projects with effective planning.
