Job summary

Brunel University London is seeking an enthusiastic Placement and Internship Specialist to develop placements for Brunel students, supporting both undergraduate and postgraduate cohorts through all aspects of their placement applications.

You will work creatively with academic departments and employers to enhance employability, lead the development of PWE systems and technology, and contribute to Brunel’s one-stop service across Business, IT, Engineering and other subjects.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students in achieving career aspirations within a recruitment environment or related field in higher education.
• Advanced IT skills and experience developing administrative systems.
• Experience leading on development of PWE systems and technology enhancements.
• Confident presenter with the ability to motivate students to compete effectively in a challenging job market.

Responsibilities

• Support both undergraduate and postgraduate students through all aspects of their placement applications.
• Develop students' employability and ensure an adequate supply of placement opportunities.
• Work creatively with academic departments and employers to create placements.
