Job summary

University of Brighton’s Placements, Internships & Volunteering team is seeking a proactive professional to help students secure work-based learning experiences. You will support students 1-1, run skills workshops, and build links with local, national, and international employers while attending Careers Fairs and other events.

The role involves admin to monitor placement activity and is based across Moulsecoomb and City campuses with hybrid flexibility; term-time on-campus presence is required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of student placements in the Higher Education sector.
• Experience working with students in an education environment.
• Experience delivering workshops.
• Excellent organisation, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Good administration skills, with ability to use MS Office and databases to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Support students on a 1-1 basis.
