Job summary

Brunel University London is seeking a Placement and Internship Specialist to develop placements for Brunel students and maintain the department’s premier position. The role supports both undergraduates and postgraduates across multiple subject areas, working with academic units and employers to boost employability and ensure ample placement opportunities.

The post holder will lead on PWE systems and technology enhancements, require advanced IT skills, and be comfortable presenting to motivate

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students in achieving career goals within higher education or recruitment.
• Confident presenter with ability to motivate students in a challenging job market.
• Advanced IT skills and experience developing administrative systems and PWE tech.
• Willing to work occasional weekends and engage across multiple subject areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop placements for Brunel students to strengthen employability across departments.
• Collaborate with academic departments and employers to secure placement opportunities.
• Support undergraduate and postgraduate students through placement applications and processes.
• Lead development of PWE systems and technology enhancements within the service.
