Job summary

Brunel University London is seeking a Placement and Internship Specialist within the Student Professional Development team to develop placements for Brunel students and to sustain the department’s premier position as an award-winning service.

The role supports both undergraduate and postgraduate students through all aspects of placement applications, collaborating with academic departments and employers to boost employability.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students' career development in recruitment or higher education.
• Confident presenter capable of motivating students in a competitive job market.
• Advanced IT skills and experience developing administrative systems for PWE.
• Ability to contribute to the wider strategy of the PWE and university.
• Willingness to work across Business, IT, Engineering, Arts, Humanities, Law and Social Science.

Responsibilities

• Develop placements for Brunel students and maintain a supply of opportunities.
• Support undergraduate and postgraduate placement applications across disciplines.
• Collaborate with academic departments and employers to enhance employability.
• Lead on PWE systems and technology enhancements.
• Present to students and stakeholders to promote opportunities.
