Job summary

GSF Car Parts Limited is seeking a People Business Partner to act as trusted advisor on HR matters across the business. You will partner with managers to deliver practical, commercially focused guidance and support employee relations, talent development, payroll queries and organisational change.

You'll coach managers to build capability, identify risks early and drive a high-performing, engaged workforce while ensuring compliance with UK employment law and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience as a People Business Partner, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor.
• Strong employee relations experience and knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience supporting managers in fast-paced operational environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Experience working with HR systems, people data and reporting.
• Coaching approach to develop manager capability and accountability.
• Proactive and solution-focused mindset.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent (Level 7 desirable).

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for all people-related advice and support.
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues.
• Support managers with talent, succession planning and workforce planning activities.
• Coordinate responses from specialist teams including Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and Payroll.
• Support organisational change and business transformation initiatives.
• Analyse people data and trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Build strong relationships with leaders and influencing decision-making.
• Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, policies and company procedures.
• Driving a proactive, commercially focused people agenda across your business areas.
