Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking a People Business Partner to be the trusted advisor across the business, partnering with managers to deliver practical HR guidance that protects the company and supports performance.

You’ll own employee relations, talent management, learning & development, payroll queries and organisational change, ensuring the right support is delivered through specialist teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a People Business Partner, HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor.
• Strong employee relations experience and sound knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience supporting managers in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Experience working with HR systems, people data and reporting.
• A coaching approach that develops manager capability and accountability.
• A proactive and solution-focused mindset.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience (Level 7 desirable).

Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for all people-related advice and support.
• Providing guidance on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues.
• Supporting managers with talent, succession planning and workforce planning activities.
• Coordinating responses from specialist teams including Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and Payroll.
• Supporting organisational change and business transformation initiatives.
• Analysing people data and trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Building strong relationships with leaders and influencing decision-making.
• Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, policies and company procedures.
• Driving a proactive, commercially focused people agenda across your business areas.
