Job summary

Aptia UK Limited seeks an experienced Client Director or Senior Client Director to strengthen our UK Pensions business and manage key client relationships across consulting and administration services.

You will own a portfolio of pension clients, act as their strategic partner and primary adviser, and work with operations, consulting and leadership teams to ensure outstanding service while expanding revenue and value for clients.

Qualifications

• Significant client relationship or account management experience within pensions.
• Strong knowledge of UK pension arrangements (DB/DC).
• Experience managing complex client portfolios and achieving commercial objectives.
• Proven ability to identify and win additional business opportunities.
• Ability to communicate technical pension matters clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive problem solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness, including profitability and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing relationships across a portfolio of pension clients.
• Acting as the senior client contact and trusted adviser for clients and trustees.
• Driving client retention, satisfaction and long-term partnership growth.
• Identifying and converting opportunities for additional services, projects and revenue growth.
• Leading client review meetings and presenting service performance, insights and improvement plans.
• Partnering with operational teams to ensure service excellence and delivery against SLAs and KPIs.
• Managing escalations and resolving complex client issues effectively.
• Supporting contract renewals, commercial negotiations and tender responses.
• Monitoring portfolio performance, profitability and commercial outcomes.
• Staying ahead of industry developments and regulatory change to provide informed guidance to clients.
