Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of technology and payments initiatives. The role focuses on governance, prioritisation, performance reporting and value realisation across programmes and projects.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, manage diverse stakeholders, and ensure delivery aligns with enterprise strategy and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing large technology and payments portfolios.
• Proven portfolio governance and executive reporting experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and strategic leadership skills.
• Know-how of ISO 20022 and payments modernisation advisable.
• Certifications MoP PfMP PPM MSP PRINCE2 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and oversight of a portfolio of technology and payments programmes and projects.
• Establish and maintain portfolio governance frameworks and executive reporting.
• Provide consolidated portfolio reporting on delivery, milestones, risks and costs.
• Monitor portfolio risks, issues, interdependencies and constraints with mitigation.
• Drive prioritisation and investment decisions based on strategy and value.
• Ensure initiatives align with operating models and roadmaps.
• Track benefits realisation and strategic outcomes for senior leadership.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and investment tracking for the portfolio.
