Job summary

Key Selection Recruitment Limited is recruiting a commercially driven Business Development Manager for solid board packaging, based in Hertfordshire with office/field duties. You will identify new opportunities across the UK, grow revenue, and manage key accounts in FMCG sectors.

The role requires managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to quotation, coordinating with design, estimating and production teams, and representing the business at trade shows and client visits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience selling solid board packaging, folding cartons or printed packaging.
• Experience building new business across UK markets.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business opportunities across the UK
• Grow revenue and margin within both new and existing accounts
• Build relationships with packaging buyers, procurement teams and key decision-makers
• Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to quotation, negotiation and account win
• Work collaboratively with design, estimating and production teams to deliver customer solutions
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations and site visits
• Attend relevant trade shows and industry networking events
