Job summary

The West Midlands Combined Authority is recruiting an Organisation Design & Transformation Practitioner for a 12 month fixed term contract in Birmingham. You will lead complex reviews from diagnostics to option design and support implementation planning, working with Executive Directors and senior leaders to scope, challenge and govern change initiatives.

Qualifications

Significant experience leading complex organisation design reviews with Director or Executive sponsors.
Proven ability to operate design programmes within complex organisations.
Strong consulting and influencing skills at senior levels.

Responsibilities

Lead complex organisation design reviews from initiation to implementation planning.
Collaborate with Executive Directors and senior leaders to scope and lead reviews.
Design organisation design sprints, workshops and diagnostics.
Develop and test evidence-led organisation design options against principles and risk.
Maintain professional neutrality and build trust with senior stakeholders.
Provide assurance on governance and evidential standards in design activity.
Coach leaders and colleagues to use the Organisation Design framework.
Deliver Change Assessments and advise on change management impacts.
Balance multiple concurrent reviews while managing risk.
