Job summary

West Midlands Combined Authority is seeking an Organisation Design & Transformation Practitioner to lead diagnostics, option design and implementation planning across complex reviews. You will work with Executive Directors to scope, contract and run senior workshops, ensuring evidence-led decisions and strong governance.

You will coach leaders, manage risks and drive continuous improvement in organisation design processes, collaborating with People & Culture, PMO and Finance to deliver better

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading complex organisation design reviews with executive sponsors.
• Proven ability to design and implement organisation design and operating models.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels.
• Ability to maintain neutrality and provide constructive challenge in sensitive environments.
• Experience applying Organisation Design methodologies and evidence-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex organisation design reviews from diagnostics to option design and implementation planning.
• Collaborate with Executive Directors and senior leaders to scope, contract and lead reviews.
• Facilitate workshops and governance activities to define challenges and desired outcomes.
• Develop and test organisation design options for affordability, deliverability and risk.
• Coach leaders and teams to build organisation design capability and apply standards.
