Job summary

Care after Combat seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead Op NOVA delivery across England. You will guide a dispersed team, ensure high-quality, person-centred service delivery, and manage performance with data-driven insights.

Working with the CEO and Senior Management Team, you will build relationships with stakeholders across the Armed Forces and justice sectors, reporting clearly to Trustees and ensuring robust governance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading dispersed or remote teams.
• Experience operating at senior management level.
• Strong understanding of high-quality, person-centred service delivery.
• Excellent communication, report-writing and presentation skills.
• Experience managing performance and using data to improve services.
• Ability to develop trusted relationships with stakeholders.
• Sound judgement and proactive risk management.
• Understanding of the justice system and empathy with UK veterans.
• Experience within Armed Forces community or related services is welcome.
• Knowledge of Salesforce or Outcomes Star is advantageous.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
• Enhanced DBS check and NPPV2 Police Vetting will be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Care after Combat's operational delivery of Op NOVA across England.
• Provide leadership to a dispersed operational team and oversee service quality.
• Monitor outcomes, performance and operational risk; drive continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with the Forces Employment Charity, NHS England, HMPPS and partners.
• Report to senior management and Trustees with clear reporting and assurance.
