Job summary

SiriusPoint in London is seeking a Delegated Underwriting Authority Executive to lead MGA relationships and ensure underwriting guideline compliance across delegated programs. Reporting to the Head of Program Management, you will drive profitable growth through program management, collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance and compliance, and develop contracts with MGAs.

The role requires 3+ years in program management or underwriting within insurance, with strong leadership and negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field; certifications (CPCU/ACII/AINS) are a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in program management, underwriting, or MGAs in the insurance.
• Strong understanding of multi-class insurance products and MGA role in distribution.
• Knowledge of insurance regulations and best practices for delegated underwriting authority.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for interaction with MGAs and stakeholders.
• Proven success in relationship management and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with MGAs and address their needs.
• Manage onboarding process for new MGAs and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Collaborate with legal, underwriting, claims, and BD to negotiate contracts with MGAs.
• Develop and maintain requirements for MGAs and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Assess and manage risks in MGAs and delegated programs to mitigate losses.
• Ensure MGA compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for new programs.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on program performance and issues.
• Support MGAs on underwriting guidelines and product knowledge.
• Identify process improvements and participate in program-management initiatives.
