Job summary

Mission Underwriting Managers is seeking an Account Director to partner with MGAs, shaping strategy and delivering growth initiatives. You will engage with MGA CEOs and underwriters, aligning with Mission specialists across finance, digital, and distribution to drive profitability and sustainable partnerships.

You will steer onboarding and lifecycle management, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure governance routines are effective.

Qualifications

Experience in the insurance industry and delegated authority structures (MGA, binder, capacity) is required.
Track record in senior commercial account management and delivering across business plans and targets.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage relationships at CEO/board level.
Strong strategic thinking, business planning and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Deliver initiatives that support MGA growth, profitability and partner confidence.
Lead the MGA relationship as the main Mission contact and drive governance with MGAs.
Onboard new MGAs and drive readiness through the first 90 days and into BAU.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Digital, IT, Marketing, Finance, Compliance) to execute plans.
Monitor performance, track KPIs, and escalate risks to Mission leadership when needed.
