Job summary

SiriusPoint, a Bermuda-headquartered specialty insurer, is seeking a Delegated Underwriting Authority Executive to partner with MGAs and drive profitable growth through effective program management. This role reports to the Head of Program Management and collaborates across underwriting, claims, finance, and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years in program management or MGA management, and strong analytical, negotiation and leadership skills for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field.
• 3+ years in program management, underwriting or MGA management in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of MGA regulations, multi-class products and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with MGAs and address their needs.
• Onboard new MGAs and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Collaborate with legal, underwriting, claims and BD to negotiate contracts.
• Develop MGA requirements and ensure adherence to standards.
• Assess risks and manage delegated underwriting programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with company values.
• Prepare reports on program performance for senior management.
• Support MGAs with underwriting guidelines and product knowledge.
