Job summary

OneOcean, a unified maritime brand, is seeking an Account Manager in the UK Newcastle area. You will manage and grow key customer relationships, drive renewals, and identify opportunities through upselling and cross-selling.

The role is permanent and hybrid in Newcastle, with responsibility across strategic accounts in technology, SaaS, or services, leveraging CRM and cross-functional collaboration to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• Extensive experience in account management, customer success, or related roles.
• Knowledge of the maritime industry and crewing, training, or QHSE.
• Proven track record of managing high-value client accounts and revenue growth.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Expertise in client relationship management and long-term partnerships.
• Ability to analyse client data and develop strategic account plans.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Participate in regular check-ins and business reviews to maintain relationships.
• Develop org charts and stakeholder engagement plans with the CEM.
• Attend C-Level engagements to align on strategic objectives.
• Qualify decision-making processes and criteria to drive deals forward.
• Position solutions by assessing pain points and business impact.
• Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand revenue.
• Support renewals and contract negotiations to maximise lifetime value.
• Demonstrate product value with ROI proposals and solution strategy.
• Collaborate with Rev Ops and Deal Desk for contract reviews and approvals.
