Job summary

DrPA Secure is seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join our Finance Team. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will maintain the integrity of financial records, produce management accounts, and support budgeting and forecasting.

You will monitor spend, assist audits, ensure VAT, payroll and regulatory compliance, and help improve financial processes and controls in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance, management accounting or accounting role.
• Experience preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Proficiency with financial software (Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Produce accurate, timely management accounts and financial reports.
• Monitor spend against budget and investigate variances.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and information.
• Process monthly payroll, including deductions and pensions.
• Help develop and maintain financial systems and processes.
