Job summary

Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join the Corporate and Women & Children team. You will produce monthly management accounts, monitor budgets and forecasts, and support decision making across divisions.

You will work with Finance Managers and budget holders to identify risks and opportunities, delivering clear financial information for non-finance audiences and contributing to service improvements within NHS guidance.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent
• Working towards CCAB/CIMA membership
• Experience in management accounting and NHS finance principles

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed monthly management accounts and budget monitoring reports
• Develop forecasts to support operational planning and decision making
• Collaborate with Finance Managers and budget holders across divisions
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and present clear information to non-finance stakeholders
• Support service improvements and cost reporting within NHS frameworks
