Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for a hands-on Management Accountant on a six‑month fixed-term contract. You will own monthly management accounts across multiple entities and support consolidation, with timely reporting and clear commentary for business decisions.

The role requires ACCA/ACA/CIMA (or qualified by experience), strong technical accounting knowledge, deadline-driven discipline, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification (or qualified by experience).
• Experience producing management accounts across multiple entities or business units.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities to strict deadlines.
• Assist with consolidated reporting and group management accounts.
• Produce financial reports, analysis and commentary for decision-making.
• Investigate variances and explain financial performance clearly.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of records.
• Monitor and report on balance sheet movements and financial trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial support and insights.
• Assist budgeting/forecasting and audit preparation as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting efficiency.
