Job summary

Pentasia is seeking a Management Accountant on a 6-month fixed-term contract to join our finance team. You will manage day-to-day accounting for multiple entities and support month-end close with accuracy and timeliness.

Ideal candidates have IFRS knowledge, VAT and tax awareness, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with auditors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, GL and month-end close.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good command of English and IFRS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day accounting and financial administration for multiple entities.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks and other authorities as required.
• Prepare, review and execute bank and cryptocurrency payments per procedures.
• Monitor payment schedules and ensure timely processing across entities.
• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts and records.
• Deliver financial reporting and ad hoc outputs as agreed with Finance Manager.
• Identify improvements to accounting processes across entities.
