Pertemps Redditch Commercial is recruiting for a hands-on Management Accountant for a six-month fixed-term contract in Bromsgrove. The role is on-site with a salary of £38,000–£46,000 per year and standard Monday–Friday hours.

You will produce monthly management accounts across multiple entities, support consolidated reporting, and provide timely financial insights to help decision-making. ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for multiple entities within deadlines.
• Assist with consolidated reporting and group management accounts.

• Complete balance sheet reconciliations with accuracy and integrity.
• Monitor and report on balance sheet movements.

Management Accountant

Fixed-Term Contract - 6 Months

Location: Bromsgrove (On-Site)

Salary: £38,000 - £46,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on a six-month fixed-term contract.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who is confident in producing accurate and timely management accounts across multiple entities. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the finance function, helping to ensure reporting deadlines are met and financial information is delivered to a consistently high standard.

The organisation is open-minded regarding background and experience level and is primarily seeking someone who can quickly take ownership of the management accounts process and make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts for multiple entities in line with reporting deadlines.
• Assisting with consolidated reporting and group management accounts.
• Producing financial reports, analysis and commentary to support business decision-making.
• Investigating variances and providing clear explanations of financial performance.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualification (or be qualified by experience).
• Previous experience producing management accounts, preferably across multiple entities or business units.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Experience of working within a multi-company environment would be advantageous.
• Management or team leadership experience is not essential. Applications are welcomed from experienced Management Accountants who are confident managing the reporting process and working independently.
